About the Practitioner

Lisa Elder, Pennsylvania licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist, graduated from the Boulder School of Massage Therapy in 1995.  Since completing their 1000 hour program, she has spent her career working in world class resorts such as the Cordillera in Edwards, CO; Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV; and Omni's Bedford Springs Resort, among others.

Lisa has completed over 200 hours of continuing education related to massage and bodywork.  She is certified in Prenatal massage, completing both the Bodywork for the Childbearing Year and MotherMassage training programs.  She is also certified in LaStone® Therapy, training extensively with Mary Nelson, developer of the technique.  A level II Reiki practitioner, Lisa has also studied Reflexology, Sports Massage, Aromatherpy, and Thai Massage.

In addition to her massage training, Lisa is a licensed skin care therapist, graduating from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy's cosmetology program in 1991.  She has completed 78 hours of post graduate education at the International Dermal Institute and has worked as a trainer for several high end skin care lines.
